SOUND PRODUCTION PRACTICE

For this module the candidate must demonstrate how to test and connect audio systems and how to record audio signals.

OUTCOME 1

Outcome 1 focuses on choosing the correct cables and connectors for an audio system, the candidate has to produce a wiring schematic of the connected audio.

OUTCOME 2

For outcome 2 a simple power up of the system was required, after that fault-finding procedures were carried out, if there were any faults they were to be repaired and finally power down the system.

OUTCOME 3

For outcome 3 the candidate had to prove that they setup recording equipment and record four audio sources.
