17/03/17 - Submit plan
Finally submitted my planning stage. This will reflect my intentions for the portfolio. Next step is to get some ideas down for the website and start to accumulate evidence.
31/03/17 - Studio session
We spent a couple of hours on the neotek and we recorded some ideas for the first track of the three required for the portfolio. We only recorded about 7 tracks so we decided to do some harmonies .
2/04/17 - first mix
Finished my first mix, I decided to mix and master it at home. I mastered the track in a new project as my cpu was overloading. After 4 attempts of mastering I was satisfied with the end result.
7/04/17 - Extra - curricular
I've added a new page to the website titled: "extra-curricular", as I thought it was relevant to the course. In this page I will explain what I do in my free time.
14/04/17 - gathered evidence
During a studio session I decided to take some photos for my portfolio to use it as evidence.
15/05/17 - Finished A4M project
Finished my audio for multimedia project.I used freesound.org to search for samples I couldn't recreate myself.
19/05/17 - Analog mix
Today I finished my analog mix for multi-track mixing, I used the mta 990. I had a problem importing the stems of the track into a new pro tools session and finally found a solution. After a couple of hours of fader balancing and mixing I decided to put an eq, compressor and a limiter on the master and bounced the final project.
20/05/17 - Core modules
Finished writing about the core modules on my portfolio, I explained what topics of every core module has helped me achieve further knowledge about my career path that I have chosen.
26/05/17 - Submitted Porfolio
Submitted my portfolio, I finished all the content of the website on wednesday and these past two days I decided to change some layouts and images of the pages on the website, I am satisfied with the final result.
